Window wont close URGENT!

My passenger side window motor has burnt out as it was really hot.
The window is open to the max

I have work in 8 and a half hours.

aaaaaaargh

I can't do anything about it, how quickly can a garage solve this problem? And how much would it cost?
If there's no garage near work then im fucked basically, unless i hide it up against a wall noone can get in..

Put it in the garage and get a taxi to work?

You can get a new motor from a scrapyard.

Can you not disconnect the motor and other fixings etc, push the glass up and botch it to stay there, either with tape or something?

Is there any way to take door card off, slide glass up and just kinda tape it into place...

Tried taking off the door card, and moving the motor thing to move the window up, didnt work, tried pushing it up, didnt work..

Try harder ;), disconnect whatevers holding it in place.
