In the process of changing over the passenger side wishbone on my 1.1x. The anti roll bar clamp (the one that sits on the rubber stopper at the end of the ARB) was well past its sell by date and more or less just crumbled when I tried to remove it.

Does anyone know anywhere that stocks replacments and would it be ok to drive without this in the meantime?

Cheers for any help

I'd drive very carefully if you leave it off.

Citroen/gsf/eurocarparts should do them

Might just wait till I can get a new one. Been looking on the internet and looks like it'll have to be the dealers.

Are the 1.1 mk1 anti roll bars all the same diameter ?

Luckily they've got them in stock at my local citreon dealers ,bloke on the phone said they're aliminium or summit and only about £7.

It says in the Haynes manual to fit in reverse order so that would mean that the clamp would go in last. I can imagine this being a bit of a swine once the other 3 connections (subframe , footwell and strut) are all in.

I was thinking maybe do the balljoint into strut last.

Anyone replaced their wishbone and have any tips/tricks for refitting ?

Cheers
