Not if you want to make your own ringtone...the feature it has to upload and select a snippet you like seems good to me..
Have you tried it?

you can do i direct download to your pc once the upload is done and open in itunes .... well you were able too :homme: il check now lol

You can do it with iTtunes.
1) Change the 'Start, Stop' times to the desired length.
2) Convert the file to a new .AAC file
3) Rename that .AAC file to .M4R
4)Drag it into iTunes.
Works on my Mac not too sure about PC but can't see why not.

Ahh this is what a friend of mine was telling me. It didn't make sense to me at the time but he said I had no need to download anything as you could do it via iTunes.
Can you make ones to have as message tones too?

Use Garageband its so simple, create a 30sec snippet and export to iTunes as a ringtone job done!
