Well, almost a year ago the Mrs and I eventually tied the knot and we have been umming and arring for a while about getting a dog.

This weekend we eventually decided on one as an anniversary gift for each other after concidering Akitas, Beagles, Spaniels and every other breed!

We ended up buying a gorgeos golden labrador puppy (bitch)

Yet to decide on a name so suggestions welcome.

Unfortunately my idea for calling a Beagle Jeremy or a Basset Hound Bertie has gone right out of the window as we weren't originally planning on getting a bitch of any sort so I need some uber cool girl dog names as I probably won't get away with calling it andrexpuppy180 for very long!

i would invest in a kong toy, they are great for keeping puppies amused for ages, fill them with paste or peanut butter and freeze over night, they also double up as a teething ring!!!!! I have had many dogs in my life over the years but once you have Akita you dont look back!!!!!! Mitch loves his baby sister, they are the best of mates, hope Sasha doesnt chew too much for you x
