Gearbox Gurus..?

Right guys,

In the middle of stripping my box and having a bitch of a time punching out the pin that holds the gear selector level in?

Any hints, tips, what tools did it for you. etc. etc. Really beginning to get on my tits now.

Big long punch - hit it out form the back. Does need some force, once it moves it's fairly easy to get out

Big lump hammer - it should come out fairly easy after a couple of big hits. Just make sure when you hit it through, it's got nothing in the way on the otherside.

Well it worked.

I need to replace my intermediate plate now....... But it worked! lol

I assume the plates are the same throughout the MA boxes?
