Hey Saxp

After spending ages on google trying to find a decent case for my iPhone 4. I found it impossible to find decent reviews or a Top 10.
So ive got two cases coming (one free from Apple) and one from ebay.

I'll post up reviews of each when they arrive.

Description:
Made of high quality and durable anti-dust silicone material, Precision molded cases to perfectly fit your Apple iPhone 4

Covers the entire unit to prevent scratches and bumps Non-slip, grippy surface, Washable silicone for easy cleaning

Direct access to all ports and buttons without removing it from the case,

Great grip when holding the silicone skin, which gives a comfortable sensation when gripping and typing

Review:

A great all round case, covers the entire iphone apart from the buttons. The case has cut out sections for the ipod connector, headphone port, volume and silent mode switch. However the lock/power button has a plastic cover over it. This doesn't stop the button working, just abit strange that its the only button that has a cover. The case also lips over the screen for added protection. Which means that should you drop your phone and it lands on its screen. The rubber lip over the screen will hit the surface before the screen does. The case also has rubber grip rails on the sides of the case.

The bad points about this case, because of the low clearance of the case around the edges,It caused my screen protector to lift up.
So if you use a plastic screen protector eg Zagg invisible shield. This will be useless on this case as it will peel away over time.
Also because its 50/50 rubber and plastic its abit tough getting out of your pocket because of the grip

Overal 8/10
Would be 9 if it didn't ruin my screen protector and wasn't a pain taking it in and out of pockets.

Review:

A soft plastic case that covers the back of the phone and most of the sides. The case completely covers the sides of the iphone, with cut outs of the left side for Volume and silent toggle switch. The top and bottom however and not completely protected.
The plastic case ends as it runs around the corner of the bottom and top of the phone. So it offers 4 corner protection but along the top, from the headphone jack to the hold/power button is bare. Along the bottom from speaker to speaker is bare. Also
there is No lip over the screen. However the phone fits 100% perfectly into the case. Making it extremely unlikely for the phone to slip out.

So the main negatives about this case would be no screen lip.

All that said Im still using this case rather than the S line case (reviewed above)
Mainly because the material seems alot tougher and the phone fits incredible well into the case.
I'm using this case with a phone socket at the moment and its working really well

9/10

Ok major things I've noticed that need to be included in the reviews.

Useability - I.e major thing is Iphone 4 Bumpers don't allow the use of 3rd party usb data cables. Only official ones work. Also does the case work with the iphone dock? I know the iphone 4 bumper and some don't fit the official dock which is poor on apple's standards that their official case does not fit/ work with the dock.

I have 3 cases for mine

Griffin Reveal - 9/10 usability is top-notch. No issues with this at all. Rubber around the sides with hard - clear plastic to protect the rear!

Silicone black plain from ebay - 7/10 it's ok, but doesn't fit 100% i.e pulling out the pocket or out of a bag sometimes it peels off due to the silicon material and you can feel it stretching which might be why it was a few quid from ebay.

Iphone bumper - 8/10 would be lower if it wasn't so nice looking. It's poorly designed that you can't use the charging docks with it. You will struggle with some earphones i.e non- apple earphone products won't fit in the jack slot easily due to the case. The silent button is hard if you have big fingers your there and have to concentrate to actually switch it on/off. annoying.
Only Apple original data cables fit in the slot. I have even tried the cheaper ones that are designed by apple, but made in china versions and they are roughly 1-2 mm to thick to fit in the slot.

I have no case on mine again, I prefer the sleek look on it's own, I run the risk of it being dropped but with a phone like that it's really doubtful unless your a clutz! also to the fact of buying the arkon iphone 4 in-car holder will only fit iphone 4 without a case on, As the arkon car holder is awesome im not prepared to pulling the phone in and out of the case everytime I use my car. I'm awaiting for a skin/decal/vinyl to help protect on top of the clear protectors already..

Great review and I appreciate them. As you say, shorter and crispier contents catch the eyes of readers. But at times one needs to be elaborate while sharing their own experiences which may be of great use to those who read them.

The best I've had on my iPhone is the switch easy nude, it's so thin it adds no bulk to the phone but it covers all the back and sides. You get two screen shields with it and a headphone/dock connector cover.

not sure what mines called but its from the O2 shop and its a rubber one just the back and sides really small and the back looks and feels like a tyre, good value, and good protection without any bulkiness, also it allows you to use the lock button without sweating it out pushing it stupidly hard haha

Well, iPhone 4 cases is strength and durability. One that will not affect the bulk of the device and will fit in very nicely to the contours and outlines of the gadget that you wouldn’t know it is even there.
