My back box needed replacing and around the same time i was offered a twin exhuast, so i thought why not!

Problem is, the new exhaust doesnt reach the bumper so it is just below it, but i still have the gap in the bumper where the tip used to poke out before.

Does anyone know if there is something i can clip on to cover that hole or will it have to be a case of one of those fibre glass kits from halfords?

stiffer exhaust rubbers? or just cable tie the standard rubbers to bring the tip closer to the bumper

I would use metal jubilee clips, cable ties could work to if they are the thick ones.

I did this and the exhaust rattled like a bitch but it worked :)

cheers for the response guys, ive got stiffer rubber holding it up but cant go any higher. Was nockin but weld off part of the hook holding the centre pipe, thats stopped it.

Was hoping someone could tell me if there is something i can buy to cover up the hole where the exhaust used to poke out??

Cheers :y:

Im guessing it is probs a 106 exhaust, since they always sit under the bumper. Basicly you can't buy anything cheap to put over it.. need to fiberglass>Filler>Paint the back bumper. Or get a better exhaust as twin exhaust look terrible but thats just my opinion.

i would just cable tie it tbh because if its hanging low anyway what if it hits off speed bumps... this is how mine snapped off :(

Kinda sucks, was hoping there was something that would save me from having to fibreglass etc. i'm not the biggest fan of the exhaust either, if my old back box was in good nick i would swap it back!

I think i will replace the exhaust rather than fill in the gap in the bumper.
