does stretching the tyres have any affect on the speed that your tyres wear?

The tyre wall is stretch (obv) so the tyre will lose grip all of a sudden when it reaches a certain point (hence use in difting). That is the only issiue if the wheel is set the same as before

That's right they are alot more predictable when drifting but they look a bit :homme: IMHO.

I've got Nankang NS2's stretched on my wheels and had no problems with them really!
Nice cheap tyres, though I don't drive my car hard

I'd say it's a shame with that engine - but with how the car looks it'd be a shame to risk damaging it lol.

Lol, cheers mate!
I mean I by no means just chug around but I know there are a lot of track boys on here, so, comparatively I take it easy!
Took it out tonight in the rain, it's stupid fast :-)
But as for the NS2 tyres they also seem to look good when stretched, I think the side walls are slightly weaker or something, because they seem to lend themselves to stretching more than other brands

I guess you could but why would you want to? It would look crap on standard rims, people would think you couldnt afford bigger tyres. :homme:

VTS mk1 wheels 14" = 6"
VTS mk2 wheels 15" = 5,5"

Search good about the tyres streching before putting a measure, cause a too streched tyre
may "unglue" from the wheel, and things can go really bad.
