got a job interview today for an apprentice parts technician, anybody got any tips/advice?

Dont get your knob out....
Main thing mate is seem enthusiastic! confident. Lots of eye contact. dont fidgit, that kind of thing

Confidence is key to getting them to believe you are the right lad for the job. Don't overdoo the handshake and if you don't understand something they ask just be honest and get them to rephrase it. Good luck mate!!

Be confident not arrogant!
Ask lots of questions. Don't ask about pay, not until the very end.
Research the company they will ask you what you know about them, its better if you can tell them stuff.

show your intrested in what your doing, and that you have some basic knowledge, they seem to like that :y:
i loved the parts department when i worked at citroen/pug, theyre all well nice and it was a fun place cus it was behind customer view

Ask about prospects, and all that jazz, don't ask about cash/benefits stright away, would recommend atleast a shirt and tie and shiny clean shows, not rockports ;)

cheers for the advice :y: , have looked up about the company so i know a bit more about them.. got my shirt, trousers and shoes ready aswell :D

ive never been turned down from an interview actually, and had about 10+ in the last year and been accepted for them all so shatappppp

always tell the interveiwer how their clothes suits their eyes, and if its a man, tell him his bulge is too big its making you unconfortable, and if its a woman, tell them how attractive they look

the interview went good :D passed the aptitude test with flying colours, now i'v to go for a formal interview on friday :D
