View Full Version : smoked my headlights, but indicators stand out!

as you can see ( not very well in the picture) but i have smoked my mk1 headlights on the saxo. really happy to what it looks like, think it suits the black well. are there a make of indicators that are smoked? just looks a little bit weird imo.
oppinions and ideas please :). jake

i think angels would look better on it to be honest but you can barely see it in the picture

angels would tacky it up, did a good job there on your car dude looks pretty good. before you could get smoked indicators off ebay for like £15 have a look on there

car looks aggresive as fook mate nice :y: cant ya take the front indicators apart and spray the inside housing on those too ? ? ? sorry if this is a stupid question, ive never owned a mk1 :oops:

I would spray the inside of the indicators, but if it looks crap buy the ones off ebay.

yeah unlike the headlights which is partly made from glass, the indicator is all plastic, so dunno how well it will work, gonna just grab one from the scrappys and have a little play around with it. cheers guys :)

How did you smoke the inside of your headlights? I can't find a how to guide. I'm wanting to do it today.

you do them the same as the headlights then mate? heat them up open them up, spray them etc etc.

I done mine yestaday also sprayed the indicators aswell looks good you should do yours :y:

yep exactly the same, using glue to stick the lenses back on as didnt have any sealent on them to reheat
