You're being very truthful there mate.
What about an AAT? Accountant apprenticeship. You'd start off on like £12.5k a year... Awesome future prospects!

I can tell you that certain colleges specialise in this. So if you wanted to be a mechanic for example you would go to colege 3 days a week untill they helped you find a job, so your basically guaranteed a job out of it and on the plus side you are learning aswell. Maybe worth looking into.

Ok, sensible suggestions are out the window
What about a trainee Pimp? Like the wee gimpy guy in How High.
Seems pretty easy, all you need to do is learn to say, ''Where ma bitches?''

I've got an obscure apprenticeship for you lad..
You'll start in a few years time, and you will need to wear some form of clothing, the pay is very competitive, the hours are all there to be had, and the opportunities for progression are probably correct.
Right up your street imo.

Aircraft engineer? If your up with computing, try look into that route? Network technician, general tech. So many different routes to take in I.T.
Not to long a go it was on the news about there being a huge shortage of aircraft engineers "dying breed" iirc.

NASEC would take you on ... but it would now be in a years time as they normally start in August ...
they do ... pipefitting, welding, mechanical fitting, structural steelwork and such...
but if you can try and become an Instrument Technician

lets just say if I had the chance again I would have done that ... once your time is out very good money.
Devises, selects, sets up, and operates electronic instrumentation and related electromechanical or electrohydraulic apparatus used for operational and environmental testing of mechanical, structural, or electrical equipment, and translates test data for engineering personnel to formulate engineering design and evaluation decisions: Selects, installs, calibrates, and checks sensing, telemetering, and recording instrumentation and circuitry, and develops specifications for nonstandard apparatus according to engineering data, characteristics of equipment under test, and capabilities of procurable test apparatus.
also good because your not exactly gonna be in for "hard work".
