Found a set of these in mint condition for sale. Does anyone know how good they are ? Sell for 30 quid for the set.

I have never heard of them. Are they standard shocks or aftermarket? If they are aftermarket and are stiffer, putting them on the back will make the car tend to oversteer.
Euro Car Parts sell standard billies pretty cheap if you need them changing.

Sound like OEM grade shocks, i know Sachs do clutches never knew they did shocks though?
Tbh mate you'll struggle to sell them at all i would of thought maybe £15 posted maximum if someone needs a temporary set but they not really sort after items...

Sachs definately do dampers.
RE the Clio Trophy, which comes with Sachs remote resevoir dampers as standard...
http://www.pistonheads.com/doc.asp?c=161&i=17171
For this reason, the car sports a 10mm lower ride height, SACHS remote-reservoir dampers re-rated by +20% and +10%, and springs stiffened by 20% and 15% front and rear respectively. Renault also revised the geometry of the steering, and replaced the elastometric bump stops with hydraulic ones to dial out almost all traces of understeer and sharpen turn in response. Uprated front hub carriers were also included to deal with the higher cornering forces.
The sum of all of these rather cerebral upgrades saw no real gains over the headline performance figures of the standard 182 Cup. However, on a twisty B-road the extra compliance transmitted through the body-hugging Recaros and revised steering wheel are enough to show a clean pair of heels to pretty much everything, when in the right hands.

identical to the ones used on last year’s works SEAT BTCC cars
So Sachs make dampers that are good enough for BTCC cars... However, whether the dampers in question are much good, is questionable, they could be anything from OEM replacements to race spec. See how much they want for them, and, if they're cheap enough, try them, see what they're like.
BTW, chances are the front shocks are the same too. ;)
