Also if anyone starts watching it who hasn't seen it...in the first few minutes these people break into an animal testing place full of monkeys, and the guy there warns them not to let the monkeys out as they have a contagious virus in their blood and saliva...but they let the monkeys out anyway and get killed...and so it begins.....

Yeah 28 Weeks Later is brilliant aswell...but when's the new one out, there must be a new one soon?

As in the end of 28 Weeks Later when they are escaping in the chopper, it shows a final scene with the chopper lying smashed on the ground...and in the background you see all the zombie's running with the Eiffel Tower in the background...so they have spread into Europe instead of just the UK

There are alot of old abandoned houses up here, like almost ruins, not much of a roof left etc...very very old houses

There was 2 up the hill across from my house, you had to go 5 miles up a dirt track to get to them, me and Dad walked up there years ago...one of the houses was huge and it was a token horror film house, just looked identical to the creepy houses you see in horror movies...never went inside though, and they are knocked down now...the estate owner felt no need for them to exist so had them knocked down

Also at loth beach which is only 10 mile away, there are loads of old World War lookout posts and air raid shelters scattered along the beach.. The lookout posts are cool with ladders up to the roof probably where someone sat all day watching...and the underground air raid shelters are pretty bare though just full of bats

And along from these is an old army shooting base where the army practised shooting up until whatever many years ago.. Me and my mate went there about 10 year ago and there was thousands of bullet shells, all different kinds of gun like .9mm etc, and in one of the underground shelters we found lifesize targets, which were a sillhouette of a man on a big sheet of paper with target areas

Wouldn't mind going back again and having a proper look

Also to add...at loth where the air raid shelters on...there is meant to be an underground shelter where the army actually left all the really old motorbikes, and the place is now covered up so i dunno how anyone would find it without digging the place up

Supposedly is full of the old motorbikes from decades ago probably when the war finished or something

Yeah i've looked at Pripyat aswel, fascinating aint it...bit dodgy to venture there though with the radiation you'd end up being deformed.. Your new Rolex watch with 4 hands on it.. Prada suits with 6 cufflinks on each side, scary thought!

Bit on 28 Days Later now is where the old guy gets infected and just before the guy kills him the army pop their heads up and kill him...i remember getting excited at this bit when i first watched it, knowing there are still some of the army around to help

Yeah it was the only way they could go through.. But i know what ya mean, things like that in films annoy me.. Like when say someone in a film has a gun pointed at the bad guy, saving the day etc...but they walk so close to them, then all of a sudden the bad guy grabs the gun and is in control again..fuckin annoying, i would just blow his knee off so he can't really move much, then question him

I'd be a shit film writer though nothing would happen. If i wrote the 28 Days Later script it would be about 4 minutes long.. Cut scene as the people sneak into the animal testing place, they are confronted by the guy who works there who, in a panic, explains to them that the monkeys are infected and it is contagious.. He'd show them proof, and they would leave the building and go home and go to bed. /film

I don't think the 1st one could be topped though, just the whole nature of the film is amazing

Gutted now i've finished watching this i've got a taste for more...apparantly he is considering another sequel in 2011 but isn't 100% yet as 28 Weeks Later for some reason didn't do well at the box office, even though every review i've read says it is as good as the first, and some say it is better!

Apparantly if he does another one they have taken over and killed most the French, and the film will be set in Russia.. Hope it's not called 28 Months Later though cos thats a bit of a gap in time.. 28 Minutes Later would of been good, finishing off where it started, but then it would probably make the film too similar to 28 Weeks Later

I love how the "zombies" are fast in these movies, well they aren't zombie's as they're just infected with a virus, but they still get called zombies.. Was reading some reviews and this quote made me chortle, from a 28 Days Later fan -

I'm not a big fan of zombie movies. Most of them contain a bunch of slow dead mofo's walking around trying to eat people, and a group of 5 guys killing them by the thousands.

Tomorrow at 10:50 same channel, The Hills Have Eyes...is on.. Quite a good film aswell definately worth watching
