very expensive, my brother goes on a regular basis until a few months ago when a mate had a crash there, the ring wanted to charge him 100k for recovery etc and loss of money from toher people wanting to use the track

I used to take that bend at 120 mph in the meggy, just before that the meggy did 141 mph.

Never lift off or that is the result unfortunatley, hope the lad is ok.

This is why we can't get insurance for the ring anymore, too many big crashes & claims.

Theres no pre set "accident" cost its done by sections ie how many armco sections you hit, also your charged if they have to clear the track, clean the track and worst of all if they have to shut the track you cover there loss.

The Ring is an absolute money maker iirc the recovery company that pull all the cars off pay 150k a year to be the Rings recovery company.

Yes though it was exacerbated by the off camber and the crest of the hill.
If he had been going flat out the car would understeer. Whether the car was sliding to the outside of the corner to start is hard to tell, but the driver certainly lifted off to spin it..The rear cocking its wheel was not a valid reason for loosing control when weight transfer is mainly to the righthand tyres
