Anyone do loft conversions

Kinda just getting some info on them, interested in building and fire regulations mainly and also what plans you need to give to the council to inspect what you're going to do (not planning permission).

I'm planning on doing a lot myself but don't know the ins and outs of what rules I need to keep to.

Not much power difference, but the loft off oversteer is amazing.

Dont tell the council, just go ahead and do what you want, then when it comes to selling the house, just put it as loft space with easy access, long as its not advertised as a bedroom, they cant do a thing about it :)

yeah he's going into new avenues, he only asks for a 'meeting' with your/a child, he's a nice chap when you get to know him, his kids are cool aswell, they're up for anything

Yeah i've met him before.. Was strange though he had a group of kids with him that he told me were his "children"...but then when i spoke with him a few weeks later he had the same kids but addressed them as his "grandchildren"...odd
