What did you have, and how much power were you running?

Mine's running 200BHP and it's pretty damn quick, especially for what it is. Runs 0-60 in high 6's..

You won't get anything loads quicker without spending loads on insurance i.e. Scooby, Evo et.

2k vts, + 2k engine mods would be rather rapid.

Having 4k in cash one week and a saxo with money fired into it youre never gonna get back the next sounds pretty gash to me..

Depends on what youre looking at man, S4s are pretty cheap now - Youll get E36 M3s for that money if you dotn mind doing a bit of work on them etc.

200sx?

2.0 Turbo
RWD fun
£4k would easily get one running 300bhp+

Insurance group 17 though

EDIT:
Orr..
N/A Supra
3.0 V6
Insurance group 15

You'll get a badly accident damaged DC5 for 4k

It will be in bad nick but it's still a DC5 so you'll still be happy

this is true, but you wont be happy with a n/a supra, because more people TT them and an n/a isnt all that fun, + most on the market are auto imports

Dropped a ridiculous amount on the 'hypothetical' quotes I did.
Same info, but DoB changed by a few months so my age was 21. Most things were at least £2k cheaper.

Actually can't wait for December!

What about a Nissan Pulsar GTI-R???

They are cheap to pick up, most probelery could get a good tuned one for about £4k and they are flying.

insurance will rape his ass on one of them and they do about 9 miles to the gallon when you give it some . bloody fun cars mind

how about a delsol Sir? mines quick, comfy and people are always suprised at how nippy she is

Mk1 Audi TT. You could pick up a tidy one for about 4k.

I agree with the 200sx comment must be up there as well.

Surely a 200SX would be relatively expensive in terms of insurance, no?

For some reason I fancy sound loud lary RWD jap crap, but wouldn't want anything slower than the Golf.. If I could insure a 200SX at 19, I'd consider it..

200sx isnt actually that bad in terms of insurance i had a quote on one ages ago and was good

Del sol's are for girls.. theyre to fat and ugly to be fast ;) :homme:

Id recommend an m3 but you wont afford that so my bets going on a 200sx in this thread.

Are all S14 200SX 2.0 turbos? What about S15's?

I did a quote on a '99 S14 200SX earlier (just a 200sx, not a touring or anything) assuming I was 19 and had 2 years ncb.. Cheapest was 3k, but that as on monesupermarket, I imagine a specialist insurer would be a darn sight cheaper!

2.0 turbo 200hp.. its basicully the jdm equivalant* to germanys e36 328.

All the sound ones now are 99% of the time auto but its a easy swop if you want a manual.
