I need some advice. Plz.
My wee car failed it's mot on extensive pay in lower suspension balljoint, excessive corrosion on front to rear brake pipe & headlamp aim too low!!!! I was just getting sorted replacing the wishbone that needed replaced, when i started paying attention to the state of the engine bay and noticed a rust spot, kinda never took much notice before tbh!
So i had to see how bad the rust was and the results were..
To me,extensive rust in the engine bay under the fuse box, look from under the wheel arch and you see it's worse that just looking from above!
That's just the passengers side, still to take the ecu off to see the damage there.
Then there's the rear wheel arches, not so bad but, i have only taken passengers wheel arch liner off, still to properly look around drivers side wheel arches..
I got some aquasteel to try and stop the rot, but i think it's a little too late.
Look at where the left hand front bumber is and basically it's not held on by anything!!
What do u think? Try and repair the rot or scrap?
Thanks in advance..
