On a serious note, i drive with banana skins on the pedels, head out the sunroof, seat as far forward and unreclinded as possible, sunvisor down so i cant see, and elbows tucked into my body with wrist pointing towards the middle of the steering wheel. I dont take my foot off the accelarater when i change gears and leave it hitting the limiter at the lights. I dont use my mirrors instead i over exagerate sticking my head out the window and looking all around the car. At roundabouts instead of wating for a place to go, i proceed with no caution and hold my hand out the window to stop the cars hitting me. I have alot of respect round these ends.

I hit VTEC in reverse a few months ago, was actually scarily fast no joke, fuck knows what speed i was doing but it was fast :S and didn't even hit the limiter could of went faster but one jerk of the steering wheel and i'd be doing an unexpected j-turn, possibly into a ditch

Sit in the footwell, operate pedals with hands, steer with the feet, just how I was taught really.

It works off the speed sensor on the gearbox, speed/rev dependant i guess.

I always wanted to do it but didn't ever have the bollocks to try it haha

You have stated the obvious there

To put it basically, VTEC works from the oil pressure. So until the engine and oil is up to temp, VTEC wont engage.. All VTEC is the same, not just DC2's...none work when the oil aint warmed up

Works in reverse though surprisingly eh, i know what you mean, i thought it wouldn't engage in reverse but it does, and it is stupidly fast which is a bit crazy

I'll try it one night again, try to get it to over 8k in reverse, see what speed it is
