how do u check a car online to make sur it has mot

i am going to look at a nufer car in a minuite and the owner says it has mot but he cant find the certificate and i would like 2 check online before i go to view it

Don't think you can check MOT online mate.
Ask the guy where he got the MOT an give them a ring. They should be able to give you a date of when it was last MOT'd.

If you can find out the V5C document number then go to http://motinfo.direct.gov.uk/internet/jsp/ECSID-Internet-Status-Request.jsp and you can see when mot is due etc ask the seller to give you that information so you can check
