Anyone watching the F1 GP today?
Jenson starting 5th on the Grid, but im hoping he will gain some places on the first straight. Not much of a starting straight though :n:
Who are you backing for today's race?

Too cleverly answer the phones. Then put some pillows and a duvet cover over your chair with some cleverly placed lumps in it resembling yourself, then get a tape too loop "Good afternoon, 0rang3peel services, how can I help... *pause*.... have you tried turning it off... and turning it back on again".
Then go watch the F1.

I made a thread on this yesterday :homme: :p
Was such a good race, proper eventful. Button was really unlucky. Annoyed that Rubens went out tbh! Wanted Webber to win but fair play to Lewis :y:

Really good race and the weather kept things lively. Over the moon for Hamilton and I think Button would have finished 2nd had Vettel been able to drive properly. LOL at Alonso having to much of the apex and ditching it.

He is a cock im sure we have had this discusion not long ago :homme:
Shumi gets a 10 place grid penalty for nearly causing an accident with a person that dunt matter in the championship! and vettal takes out Button when he is 2nd and in the championship race and gets a drive through!! that needs proper investigation if you ask me. admitingly it was an accident but still a drive through for that!!! :n: button would be right in the mix at the top if he had finished 2nd.

I understand your point. But at the end of the day Barrichello is no different to anyone else just because he drives for Williams. If anything drivers should have more respect for him due to him being around so long. I'm like the biggest Shumi fan ever, but even I was completely shocked when he nearly put Rubens into a brick wall, so i'm not sticking up for him here!
I think they took the rain and conditions into consideration today and decided that he couldn't really control the car that well at that point and that it was no way intentional, compare that to Schumi going down a perfect straight road in perfect conditions and pushing another driver centimetres to a concrete wall and you have your answer.
Dunno why I just wrote a small essay but there ya go lol. I think it's good how they have previous F1 drivers making the decisions though :y:

It wasn't done intentionally :S He made a swift move and unfortunately the wet track threw his back end out which he could not control. It is a shame it happened but it was an accident. I thought it was very good of him to apologise in the interview as well. Well done Seb :clapping: I can't see how any other punishment would have been fair? What would you have done?
Schumi got his penalty because he will have known EXACTLY what he was doing, it wasn't an accident.

I think Vettel was swinging side to side to try and distract button. He did this when he was doing a relatively low speed, so had low downforce, so he crashed.
At that particular time nobody else was losing grip/traction so you can't really blame the rain, I don't think it was raining at the time-the racing line would have been dry at least.

as i said in another thread on the F1.... Spa is one of the greatest circuits still raced upon today. :y:
