Hi,

My friend has a renault clio, recently it has started stalling when she comes to a standstill after driving for a distance. The engine management light comes on and the revs fluctuate before it stalls. This is more prevailant when it is cold but not exclusive to cold conditions?

Does anybody have any ideas as to what may be causing this?

Any help is muchly appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Nobby

P.s. if this is in the wrong section please could it be moved ?

Bros does this except when he starts it it'll cut out so you've gotta keep revving it to drive off needs to get it serviced before he sells it but needs to keep it for now as his mondeo is getting its alternator done
