dhl !!!!

right got a bit of a problem ive been sat in allllll day waiting for a bloody mobile phone from carphone warehouse.

dhl told me it will be delivered today 100% between 9:00am to 9:00pm

ive not left the house at all but on the tracking it has now changed from " with the courier to destonation" to "attempted failed delievery card left" at 8:57!!

i have not left the house so i would of heard if they would of knocked.

what do i do ? i think the driver was running late couldnt be arsed to deliever the parcel and just put on his computer that we wasnt in so he could go home earlier.
but because i dont have a card from them i dont no what to do now will it be redelieved or sent back to manc centre.

hopefully someone works for dhl :P

Ring them up and complain! obviously you don't have the attempted delivery card, so the driver can't say he attempted to deliver it!

This happened to me on 5 consecutive days a few years ago (strangely also waiting for a phone from Carphone Warehouse).

Ring carphone warehouse. They hold the responsibility to make sure it gets to you. They will give you a tracking number and the number of whatever depot it is supposed to be at.
You will then have to chase it up with the DHL admin team, the person I spoke to last time was quite helpful, although I still had to ring 3 times.
In the end I got fed up of waiting and went to get the phone myself. If your depot is fairly local it might be worth a shot.
