Painting Steelies.

Ok so im gunna paint my steelies. Going to try and do them all black with a red lip. Was just wondering if this was the right way to go about it.

Sand
Primer
Spray completely black.
Mask off center.
Spray lip red.
Laquer.

Or do i have it completely wrong?

personali, i wouldt try spraying a lip, us bike tape or get a local grafics place to make your some red cirules then stick them on will be lot easyer...

paint wise,
x2 prime sand 320,
paint black sand 600,
paint.
clear coat.

as mark said do it how you said but just spray them black and use rim tape

I'm doing the same but just White steels I
on black mk1 if u can for a good finish get them sand blasted made life 100x easer :) steelys FTW

i just sanded and used white hammerite :oops:
i cheated and couldnt be arsed with steelies, but need re doing for winter :err:

you cant realli go rong when spraying just take your time sanding and obv spraying
