a couple of months ago i clayed my car and then applied dodo light fantastic.

i used the megs clay kit with qd as lube.

the beading was amazing, loved it... but i think it needs a top up.... or a fresh start

at the time i had no polish so just clayed and waxed... with the swirls showing still obviously.

i have ordered some g techniq stuff... p1 polish and c2 sealant.

so... the questions

do i clay the car again? (even though i only did it a couple of months ago?)

presumably if i clay the car again it wont take as long this time?

what else can i use as a lube? (nearly run out of the supplied QD) can i use fairy and water?

if i don't clay the car - how can i remove all the wax for a fresh start?

and finally...

to apply the c2 sealant - just spray on and wipe off? or rub on with a cloth?

thanks for any help :)

You do need to clay if you want C2 to bond correctly.

For clay lube just use a weak shampoo and water solution.

You can fully strip the car by washing it with Fairy liquid or using some All Purpose Cleaner or even IPA.

For C2, simply spray on a panel and wipe over with an MF. Leave it for 30-40 seconds then buff with a seperate MF. It's as easy as that!

Once you've fully applied C2 it's really upto you if you wish to add DoDo wax, C2 is completely water repellant.
