HELP! Engine Mods

My 2001 phase 2 VTR saxo is slightly modded, wheels, lowered, pipercross induction kit, and cobra seats. I am looking to make the next step. I have between £1000 and £1500 to spend including labour. What do you suggest?



Is the LAD 120bhp head mod any good?

Has anyone had any dealings with GMC in scotland. Any good?

What are your opinions on the ecotek valve?

Not sure on details of LAD head mod, but you wont see 120bhp from modifying the head alone...



If you want the best bhp increase per pound on your budget I would look into the following...



cam,

flowed head,

head skim,

increased fuel pressure,

Dastek Unichip,

Free flow exhaust and manifold



Not sure on prics or gains as ive never modified a VTR, but they are the bits I would consider...



My opinion of the ecotek, is that its a waste of money... Ive never tried one, but in principle, its going to do very little!
