Next car - 5-6K

Want you lots opinions on what you would buy for around 5-6K , Need to be able to insure it for no more than around 1K , 19 with 2 Years no claims.

im thinking sort of BMW or Audi , Or someting Jap but have no idea what to look at

Personally, im a huge A4 fan - so that would be my choice of car, as have seen one being driven by a middle aged woman around aberdeen which has speedline turini's on, looks awesome


but then again old style E36 M3's with leather etc are VERY comfortable cars, and have some go when you want it, but i dont really class them as a fast car - look at them more as a comfort daily

EK9's are imports, and are in a similar insurance zone as group 20 so insurance will rape you to death :(

im looking to have a black EK9 built with a Accord K24 engin in it.

had my mates EG with a K24 in it last weekend... and the thing was fantastic!!!!!

gonna get a purple cage etc in it.... colours to be black purple and silver themed... black wheels purple lip, purple cage, stickers... black silver and purple under the bonnet.

Is it just me that thinks Audis aren't anything special at all? I think they look gash a lot of the time (although never models are much nicer).

I'd have a Cupra R over a A3 ANY day of the week.. I have a lot more respect for the owner of a Cupra R than an A3, I see the Cupra R as a decent performing car, I see the A3 as a car for someone who can't afford a proper 'luxury' car like a BMW/Merc.

Mate was going to buy a 1.8T A3 (09 plate) but we all told him not to as they look fuck all! He's now got a 60 plate Scirocco on order (1.4TSi) from VW as he works there and got 15% off iirc. Still not what I'd spend ~£20k on personally at 18, but better than the Gay3!

He inherited 140k btw.
