hi there bought my son his 1st car citroen saxo 1.1 the thing is the cooling fan keeps kicking in every 5 mins even when driving the coolant has been replaced but to no avail even though the temp gauge is normal and it kicks in from normal driving after every journey keep checing the rad which is fine and the level of the coolant which is fine when i replaced the coolant i did a flush also anyone with ideas would be greatly appreciated and would there be an air lock that is causing this m:y:any thanks matt

how high up the temperature gauge does it go before the fan kicks in?

My friend had a 1.1 desire 2000 plate and his fan always used to kick in, even after a 5 minute journey it would start up after he stopped. Spent a while checking temps and what not and in the end gave up. Never did his car any harm just sounds like a jet engine when parked up lol
