Driveway £1102.12
Garaged £1238.50

I had cheaper quotes with £250 excess, TPFT than £1000 excess Third party. They are retarded, you should really phone up to get a quote.

The quotes are calculated using statistics. If Saxos tend be crashed more by people who keep their cars in a garage every night, the price for having it garaged goes up.

That's why it pays you to mess around with the quote - try changing a few things before coughing up. I knocked something like £100 off mine by parking it on street rather than in garage.

Insure it as on the street but keep it in your garage anyway

I have insured it on the street but more than likely I will be parking it behind my dads bimmer and in front of my mums megane coupe.
Totally retarded! I then lowered my excess by £150 and the quote went up £140 so really there's no point there? Extra £140 to save an extra tenner haha

I found the same when I was insuring my Clio. It was over £100 cheaper to park it on the road rather than in my Garage.
When I asked them why this was, my insurance company (Admiral) said this was due to a lot of recent claims by people who parked their cars in garages and it was because they damage their cars mainly all front and rear bumper scrapes/dents or damaging doors when trying to get into and park in their garages , so I can see why it's more expensive.

Lmao! They shouldn't insure retards! If I scraped my car going into the garage I'd either have to be blindo or spark out, it's not exactly hard lol!
But to be honest I had a brand new swift and parked it on the road and some scrote rip my spoiler off!
Now I always park on drive!
