Hi i think my front shocks are really gone as the front end is so bouncy and when you compress the shock from the wing it has atleast 2 or 3 oscillations before it has dampened the shock and back to normall. So i assume they are buggered, so therefore my question is would gaz front coilovers or blisten b8 or group n dampers be better ? Im
Not bothered about the ride being stiff but beinh bouncy is just dangerous as the engine doubles the bounce. Any help would be appreciated. O yeah and im down 60mm Thanks

Anything will be better than knackered shocks, depends on budget and what you want as to your choice. Koni gear is good quality as is Bilstein. Apex and Spax are nice kit at a reasonable price too.

Yeah well ive got gaz rear shocks. So not much point in buying a kit. Would it be worthwhile buying new springs ? And so does anyone know whether a good shock spring combination or coilovers would be better, as i need front end suspension now ...

Sounds like the dampers are way past it or heave oil seals have burst or perished (i.e car was too low or you were driving fast over speedbumps and potholes)

I had this problem with FK coilovers, i had the front of my car down about 100mm (basicly enough to get your finger under the bumper) and the rear down about 100, looked good but impraticle and oil seals whent without warning.

Go for the Apex kit, ive got them on custom 60mm springs, and the dampers are absolutly brilliant and still to date they are exactly how they whent on.

I could do, however ive just spent a 100 on rear shocks so i only really want the front dampers as i already have the front springs... Can anyone else help ?
