i dont know if this is the right section or should be in the interior section.
i know people use carbon for covers over the doors and where the rear cards go, but i thinking what about using checker plate, could this work or is it to heavy nd to thick??

Well it depends, people use carbon to save weight, but if you arent going down the track route and weight doesnt matter, then if it looks good why not

hey mate you can get that really thin ally that is embossed like checker plate from the back so keeps it thin and light and yeah anything can work if you put enough time into it. if your using checkerplate you could do with some sort of gasket to stop metal on metal vibrations drivin you mad. should look shit hot wen its done tho mate.
