im just having a mk 1 spoiler bonded on tonight by a citreon machanic, he tells me they usually bond them on instead of bolting if after market, is this right?.
also sould i declare it on my insurance, it will put it up 10%

a spoiler put it up by 10%!?!?! bloody hell. insurance companys are f*ckin ridiculos nowadays..who are you with?
the spoilers are usually bolted in the via the back window as far as im aware, so i think its allot easier to just bond them on instead of drilling/or replacing the glass to specifically have the holes already in it. altho im just guessing here, so i could be wrong.

i wouldnt declare a standard spoiler. Just say it was on when you got it. I would declare a non standard spoiler though.
when you declare the spoiler to your insurance, you have to make it clear that it's a standard citroen optional extra that was standard on some but not all saxos. i declared my vts alloys as an optional extra and the premium didn't budge.
