I brought a vts loom from ebay and when i recieved it the item didn't work, i then left a message with a negative feedback, next thing i know he is sending me threatening messages this is what his first message said;
'u f**king p***k i got your f**king address there was nothing wrong with that loom watch wot happen now u a** hole it was 100% working as it was on my car u c**t u wait now watch lol'
His ebay name is 'MAT106' so just keep an eye on him, he went on to say;
'im telling u now u could off contacted me first remove the feed back aww u will need to do something about it in a few months'
'u left feed back with out even saying there was something wrong with the loom im sorry i want do nothing to ur address but if u dont chage the feed back for not contavting me first im up ur way in a few weeks and il stop buy for a 1 to 1 chat thats a promise u could of contacted me first'
SO he is saying sorry and offering threatening behavior in the same conversation?? Probably some gangsta i suppose no gcse's the usual lol. stereotype i know but come on.

Report him to eBay and show eBay those messages. They will take them very seriously if he's threatening you.

Ha he does sound bit chavish. Tell him you'll meet him but your staying at a mates house and give him the address of your local police station then meet up with him

Skim read... seems like you just left eg feedback before contacting him?? The idea goes that you're supposed to resolve the issue first. If not you have dated emails which shows your end of the correspondence Bit harsh imo I wouldn't be happy if someone tarnished my 100% feedback without telling me why!
You should have emailed him, pictures of it fitted and not working. Then if he either played the ignorance game or wasnt going to resolve, feedback and claim :)

Can't stand eBayers who leave negative feedback without even contacting you first to try and resolve the issue

To be honest, If I purchased something and then it turned up and didnt work I would too leave neg feedback.
Report him and get him banned off ebay - Anyone who is seriously going to do something is not going to let you know before hand..

TBH you should have atleast let him know it didn't work before leaving negative feedback. He does sound like a twat though.

You should have contacted him to say the loom didn't work before leaving negative feedback.
Sellers have the right to rectify any issues with the item before their reputation is tarnished.
To be fair though, judging by his response, I suspect he would have simply claimed the loom worked to which you would have had to contact Ebay to make a claim against him etc.
You have kind of dug a hole for yourself a little bit so my advice would be to reply with some Adult Educational establishments in his area which teach English. He will then at least be able to construct a sentence with propper grammar for future use :)
I am guessing the loom wasn't too expensive, he can contact Ebay to say he thinks the feedback is unfair which will take a long time and ultimately be fruitless for the sake of a loom

To be honest, If I purchased something and then it turned up and didnt work I would too leave neg feedback.
So you wouldn't just contact them to sort the problem out?
Most good eBayers would contact him, and they would offer a refund and you'd send it back, then leave good feedback saying it didn't work but you got a refund
Ridiculous when people jump straight into giving negative feedback
My Mam used to sell alot on eBay, alot of jewellery.. She recently sold a womans bangle thing, and they emailed to see it was the wrong size like a kids size, it wouldn't open, and it had a dent in it
Mam offered a full refund and she sent it back.. There was no dent, it opened fine (she must of been trying to open it the wrong way), and i tried it on my wrist and it fitted fine...so wasn't a kids size at all! Just a moaning twat eBayer, yet Mam still gave a refund just so she wouldn't get bad feedback
I would of told her to fuck right off

Should have contacted before leaving negative feedback. I'd probably be just as pissed as him, but not have worded it in the same way..

I would like to know what was up with the loom? they are pretty straight forward..

I would have contacted him first. I did that when I brought my iPhone. It was supposed to be unlocked to all networks, but it wasn't so I had to get an 02 pay-as-you-go sim. I nearly got arrested because of it, cause the guy had at the beginning of the year registered it lost/stolen and hadn't undone his report. But, it works fine now. Anyway, I got some money back for it as well.
But the way he reacted was too much. He could have just sent you a message saying you should have contacted me first, but have you check the loom properly? Was the packaging damage? (Sellers never think sometimes that the royal mail, or whoever brings it, don't respect the post sometimes and fling them around, squash them and all sorts).

As everyone else has said you should have contacted him before leaving negative feedback, it even says so when you go to leave negative feedback about contacting the seller, you should have given him a chance to sort it out, with either a refund or whatever.
Clearly most people would be pissed off at negative fb without having the chance to sort it out for the customer first, but yeah he has gone on like a bit of a tit like.

So you jump straight into the deep end and leave him negative feedback, but expect him to take the sensible approach towards you when replying?
You went all out with the feedback, he went all out with his email...fair's fair.. You're left with a couple dodgy emails in your inbox, he's left with negative feedback on his eBay
I suggest you learn to use common sense in the future before you use eBay again

You went all out with the feedback, he went all out with his email...fair's fair.. You're left with a couple dodgy emails in your inbox, he's left with negative feedback on his eBay
And the bold bit...you're shooting yourself in the foot there by saying the royal mail could be responsible for the items bad condition...so if they are at fault, why punish the seller?
I suggest you learn to use common sense in the future before you use eBay again
Woah... Why does that sound like you're having a go at me, when it wasn't me who even left the feedback without contacting the seller? And in the past I have had experience of receiving something and the packaging is damaged and has broken the item. I then contacted the seller and we sorted it out. Plus, I have experienced it as a seller and have had to had the item sent back to me and send a replacement.
I just meant, that the guy he brought the loom off wasn't thinking that maybe after he sent it and he received it, it got damaged in transit, which is neithers fault. But unproveable as it's impossible to find out where it was damaged.

No, got a sore throat, lost my voice yesterday. The blocked nose and funny head going slowly. Someone at college in my mechanics class gave it to me. I'm gonna batter him tomorrow. Drop a tyre on his foot... Hit him with something...

Get the airline for pumping up tyres, and unleash it up his arse, it'll rupture all his vital organs and probably kill him
Or you planning something slightly less serious?

Oh, no! I ain't got man flu. I see man flu a lot from my other half. I am not sitting in bed, going 'Babe, can you please get me my coffee from the nightstand (that's right next to him) and give it me please? Oh, you're the number one girlfriend in the world!' Okay, he says the first bit but not the last bit, LOL. :fcuk:

No thats the thing i tried contacting him for like over 2 weeks but heard no reply then when i left feedback he said that so i gave him more then enough time to let him respond. The loom had been cut and joined and when i swapped it over for mine my car was running on 2 cylinders, alternator light was on and one of the plugs had been cut off. Now what he said it was completely mint.
