I have court tomorrow for a speeding offence - 78mph in a 50mph. I have already got 3 points on my licence already but i was still in my first 2 years when i got my second conviction( witch im at court tomorrow for), but now i am over my 2 years so i am entitled to 12 points? so will the offence get back dated? and if so what am i looking at... a ban or need to sit my test and that again :wall:?.. or will i be fine.:y:

if you want your best chance maybe have a read through pepipoo.com. i had some really cunty 'mates' who rode my moped through 4 speed cameras and i was looking at losing my license aged 16, lucky it was all dropped. pepipoo is a motoring website with lots of legal stuff on it.

know the feelin tho, i got 3 points for a tyre 3 months after me test and nearly got another 3 points twice in the 2 year period, lucky its passed about 3 weeks ago so i can get another 6 now (if i wanted to):p

you wont get banned, you will give your lisence back, have to resit test straight away, and off you go.

Mine got back dated when i got my 11 points, no biggy, can have the test redone in 2 weeks

When my partner was done in his first year, he lost his license and had to redo it. But he was quick getting his back. He literally booked his test when it came back saying he'd lost it, and had it back two months later. Passed first time on all accounts, theory and practical.

You will have to retake your test & written test that is all. Plus you 6 points will stay with you.

the points will go on your licence from court date, although on your counter part it will say: date of incodent **/**/**, and date of points issued **/**/** ir something like that, have alook at your other points on your conterpart

i got done doing 99 in a 60, got a three week ban £255 fine and no points. just blagged it that i need to drive for my job so got off pritty litely. ul be lookin at a short ban and a fine like me or just a fine they dont look at other driving offences unless there realy serious, each offence is delt with seperatly
