Bought a car almost 2 weeks ago from Eskimo on here, included in the sale was 6 months tax that was ordered in my presence.

I am yet to receive said tax disc and was assured he received it approximantly a week ago or more.

I now have no valid tax and it is illegal for my car to be on the road not displaying a valid disc.

Now gonna have to try buy a replacement tax disc myself else i will not be able to get to work!

Has Liam said hes sent it yet?

He said beginning of last week that he received it and was sending it next day, then that became he sent it Friday.

Just phoned DVLA and i can't even get a duplicate for £7 as i didn't buy it so will have to buy another 6 months tax and attempt to claim back the money from the disc that hasn't arrived.

Totally out of options now, regardless of when he did send it my only issue is thefact it is not here!

That and the tax disc holder is one of then "yes i've paid mt tax now go fix some fucking potholes" which when holding an out of date disc is sure to impress anyone questioning me about it :(

He's done this to me too.

I accidently left my house keys in the GTI.
I've asked him nicely to send them to me on many occasions.

I will send them this week mate give me your address.
I must have asked him here/on facebook at least 5 times to send me them.

Pretty much given up now.
Not to mention my car documents took 2 months to arrive whereas he got mine within a week since I sent mine off the day I got the car.

He's a good lad, he's just useless with cars.

If have the deal in writing, then take him to court.

BTW not sure how true this is, but pretty sure your not supposed to posses a tax disc for a car you do not own.
Worth having a read up on it.

Either way give him a kick up the fucking arse to send you it.

I think your right steve about the illegality of being in possession of a tax disc for a car you no longer own unless he is selling the months back like garages do.

I would suggest if the for sale ad stated car will be taxed then you have a legally binding document and court could be done.

Could claim loss of earnings because you couldnt drive it to work to because of the lack of tax ;)

Taking this to court would be pathetic tbh.

You really don't have a fucking clue how verbal or written binding contracts work do you?

Of course it's a matter that you can take to court!

have you still not got your house keys back?

Nope lol, I wouldn't be too bothered except it has the only key for garage door on it.

Take it to court get the tax paid for get loss of earnings and dont pay any court fee's as he is in the right.

Tbh if the contract stated tax, then tax is required in the sale under the sale of goods act 1973 I think it is. States that if a contract lists certain things then those aforementioned things have to be included so the lack of tax whether lost in the post of not is not included in the sale and is then a breach of contract.

Ben if it was lost in the post then surely Eskimo would have some proof of postage

Can you take someone to court for generally being a penis?

On the note of Aly's keys;
After asking for them to be posted numerous times and 'Eskimo' agreeing to this and still not doing it, I think its disgraceful.
One of two outcomes,;
1) He has posted them and they have got lost,
2) What is your problem you retard? This is someones house keys we're talking about. You have had months to sort it out and still havnt. Its not hard. I've never met 'Eskimo' but from what I have heard, he's just a daft kid with clearly not a care in the world. Sort yourself out mate.

And Bickerton, hope the Lupo gets sorted soon.

Glad this is sorted Bickerton.

If anyone else has a current unsolved problem with Eskimo or any other member of the forum please open a thread about it.
