simple question guys, my m8 wants to delock his corsa, open it with pop locks under mirror etc, but surely that will make his insurance go down as its a security mod, or will they just count it as a mod and make the premium higher? what do you reckon guys?

o o o and anotehr one, he wants to tint his front lights... is this legal, obvisouly to a certain extent,

Won't make a difference to his insurance either way. To affect your insurance with regards to security it needs to have a thatcham rating to make a difference, and even then not all insurance companies will lower your policy for having a cat 1 alarm (mine didn't).
And no it's not legal to tint your front lights as it would affect the amount of light getting through.

obs the door locks wont have a thachan rating so its more likely to go up, as it would just count as a mod?
i knew about the lights just wanted to get someone else to say it aswell as he didnt beilive me lol

No I don't think the insurance will go up because the doors have been de-locked, but I suppose your better to check with them before you do it just incase.
