i'm looking at getting a new mp3 player but not sure which one to get.

looking to spend around about £100-£120ish and ideally after something of atleast 5gb

not interested in i-pods though.

has anybody got anything they would recomend, or any suggestions as to what to go for?

cheers, matt

I've heard good things about creative Zens and they do a 5gb one for about 118 quid.

the battery lasts forever on mine - mine also holds about 3000 songs and i use it as a voice recorder for my lectures in uni.

Why not get a new mobile with a big memory card. Ive got over 100 tracks a few videos and loads of pictures on mine at the moment and its 3/4 full. Ive always got it with me aswell so its less to carry.

Coz the battery life is shit n you use all the battery listenin to your music, then you have none left for your calls. I've got a W800i and was listening to it whilst driving down to my parents. Was fully charged, with about an hour of listening it was half empty! With my Archos PVR (which also acts as my mp3 player) I can get 13hrs EASY

i wouldn't get the ipod Nano, my mum has taken hers back 3 times with faults! battery lasting about an hour....turning its self on, and something else.

I got myself a 30gb ipod video last week but it was faulty so I've had to send it off to Apple to be repaired/replaced. That'll teach me to buy electrical goods off egay smileys/smiley7.gif .
