Hi all.

Just a quick one, printed the instalation guide out, and towards the end it says that you cut a grey wire on the central locking wiring loom. Does this have any affect on the operation of the central locking? Seems like a really effective mod to keep thievin gits at bay.

Cheers

'What the cut wire does..... is to stop the deadbolts unlocking ÏF"somebody was to punch a hole in your door and gain access to the lock barrel.

Ie, if someone put a screwdriver through your lock and turned it.. all doors would be opened using the central locking. The daadbolts are independant of the locks for unlocking, so they would stay deadlocked!

The deadbolts still open/close with the central locking, just a trick to make it safer!
