Im in need of a new boot and intentions are to remove the spoiler from it. I was wondering what most people do when doing this... Either, get a flat arch boot (no spoiler to begin with) or get a vt boot and remove from this. Hope that kind of made sence.. aha :)

Mk2 spoilers bolt through the window so taking the spoiler off would look rediculous.
Why make extra work for yourself?

So your saying to go for either a mk1 boot or a flat arch boot?

My mk1 vtr came with no spoiler and it dosent have the holes for a spoiler.
Dosent have to be a flat arch thats without a spoiler.

Just put rubber grommets on the holes? as you would when you de-wiper? :S No need to change the glass as that would cost you a small fortune. Plus swapping bootlids, when putting one back on its allways a pain in the arse to get it on properly lined up etc.
