Xbox controller problem

My left bumper button has had it, it only works if you press on the right hand side of it. Im guessing the spring mechanism or whatever contraption is under the plastic has gone. Any fix for this?

Well the controller can be opened with a phillips screw driver, I've only ever took mine apart once because it built up loads of crap.

if your console is still under warrenty then microsoft will have to replace it free

Security torx screws not philips. Can jam a small flathead in the tho and twist it if yu get it in right. Taken mine apart loads as for cod4 i made my own rapid fire one :)
