how much is a good price roughly for spraying my black bumper strips and black strips along the side of the car gloss black?
what have people paid before?

on my black saxo i paid 250 bare in mind they had to paint the whole lower panels to colour code and i had a massive dent in the rear quarter

you could probably do a really decent job your self mate.
get in ya garage
get your self some wet n dry, primer, gloss black spray paint, laquer and some masking tape an your onto a winner.
just gotta make sure you rub the bumper strips down enough to not see the bumper material detail shit lol
wanna make it smoooooooooth :)

for something like that bud your better off doing it yourself.

get a key on the plastic parts. use some plastic primer, some gloss black for plastics and if its not shiney enough some laquor oh and don't forget to maskt the side of the car up you'd be suprised where overspray gets lol

Thanks for the replies guys, the only problems with doing it myself is 1) im useless 2) it will take ages and im a lazy sod.

follow his method if you woont it to all flake an look shit...

sand down, wipe with "plastic paint prep wipe" plastic prime, let it go tacky, spray with normal primer 3/5 layers, sand with 600, then a ultra fine scoch, paint with base coat black, the add 2k clear coat,

I would add some flatting between coats aswell otherwise you will end up with the rattle can orange peel effect! Not very nice.

mark lol ive refurbed a couple things with this method and they have last long enough and came out with a good finish with no orange peel effect...
im sorry my help to this fella would result in it looking "shit" and will "flake".
people like you that just decide to be a arse hole for no reason on this site

Really easy to do mate, took about 5 hours in total and that was me smoothing my door strips aswell and fixing cracks in the front bumper
