When its been raining or is really cold, my 1.4 furio really struggles to drive, starts fine, soon as i drive of feels like it wants to stall and the more i want accelerate the more it wants to stall, take atleast 15 mins to sort itself out fully.
Surely it cant be the plugs or coil pack? as i've recently got brand new ones. its also had a full service, belts, all filters etc
any ideas what it could be?

hmmmm sounds like it could be something to do with the cold running system such as a cold start sensor or auto choke . does the engine rev above 10000 rpm on its own when started from cold?

It could be the coolant temperature sensor misreading. A common problem.

Always worth checking your HT leads mate.
Had an old Escort GTI, started like a dream but coughed and farted as soon as I gave it any pedal. Has to ease the speed up gently.
Turned out to be insulation breaking down in the leads. They were so bad that power was arcing through them onto the engine.
