As you know Ive had a few problems with the fitting of a vts into a vtr. The latest one is now that the central locking for some reason isn't working. I have unplugged immobilizer and keypad and plugged in the new ecu. Not sure if I ave done something wrong or if i need the immobilizer plugged back in now the new ecu is fitted.

Also I unplugged the central locking box with the three connectors. Have plugged them back in and still no luck. Alarm sets fine when I press the button, just wont lock for some reason.

Cheers for any help :)

Alex.

check above fuse box right up at back of glove box theres a black box - cdl unit ( it controls the central locking) hid away and also a relay they might not have been plugged back in right or the relay might have gone, happened to me after i fitted my alarm a few weeks later and car would arm the alarm but not lock the car managed to reach up and grab the relay and push it back in its plug and same with the black box and it worked again hope this helps :p

Lol only just remembered this may have caused the problem... I fitted a new boot the other day, and just chopped the wires too it?

Central locking is usually a white box attached to the side of the heater.

Do not plug in the Imob or you will lock your ECU.

I have a small black box with three plugs going into it... Seems all okay, alarm sets fine and everything just wont lock. Not sure if maybe its from where I chopped the wires going into the boot?
