Possible Head gasket or not?
Hey Iv just bought a c2 vts on a 54 plate with 33k on the clock. Iv just noticed the coolant header tank has brown skin on the inside walls but the water is clean.there is no brown sludge or cream in the filler cap.No white smoke or oil lose. Had a dip test done, plenty of anti freeze and water present. the car has been sitting on various forcourts near me for a while. Could this just be a build up of crap from not being used regularly.

Could well be that its a build up of crap in the system from being startd alot but not getting fully up to tempreture.
Could get a sniff test done, keep an eye on it to c if it gets any worse when being used.

Im guna drain the coolant and flush the system out and clean the coolant bottle and see if the shit returns. Iv just traded my vtr saxo for this so I hope its not headgasket. It stays in the middle of the temp gauge. Hoping its just shit.
