SPOILER IN WHITE TEXT:

I've just completed it, or at least each one of the endings. On the whole, I'd say its a slight improvement over Fallout 3, not to say that's a bad thing; Fallout 3 was brilliant as it was. Some of the missions were a little frustrating, lots of back and for-thing, but on balance, the missions are more in-depth and have far more consequences than before.

I completed the main quest pretty early, so I'll track back now and look at completing all the side quests etc.

Completed it and fucked the NCR over by loading Yes Man into the old Mr. House server, upgrading the Securitron robots and going for Mojave domination!

ermmm, id say its the same sort of experience, but this one makes you more emotionally connected to NPC's (non player characters) and places more than 3.

im trying to do loads of side quests before i complete the main quest, the only thing that pissed me off with my experience, is i never enabled 'wild wasteland' at the beginning. :n:

are you playing good, bad or neutral woody?

Ended on good; vilified by the Legion. I was planning on siding with the NCR so did about half their quests but got bored of the NCR. SPOILER: So instead, I'd half did the 'Wild Card: Side Bets' quest earlier so it was just a case of telling the Yes Man to start up the Securitron's and away we went.

The Wild Wasteland perk/trait looked interesting, but I wasn't sure what it would throw up either

the legion love me..... so far, still havent completed the main quest, haha, i keep getting side tracked by the other quests, definately my favourite game of this console generation id say.

SLIGHT SPOILER: what did you think of the brotherhood, i loved them in 3, but theyre fucking cunts on this one, all i want is there power armor, but you need the training to wear it

when i go on my second playthrough im definately turning it on.

you needed training to wear it on 3 if i remember?

i;m still to buy this gonna wait for a cheap bargain buy for it, as i think i;ll be well into it but then get bored when i'm hour and hours into it and not doing anything

yeah you did, but it was basically a must do on 3. good luck finding it on the cheap. when i bought new vegas, fallout 3 was still £18 in gamestation

The NCR have heavy troopers that wear BoS armour that doesn't require power training. Think it's called 'recovered Power Armour' or something. Came across a dead one and couldn't help myself.

I used Combat Armour mostly though, as I only came across the NCR armour at the end at the Hoover Dam battle.

Brotherhood were knobs, shadow of their former selves! There is a companion you can acquire at Outpost 188 who says she is BoS, but dresses like a tramp and it contradicts their 'lockdown' rule...

I stole the self-destruct codes off the 3 BoS leaders/captains and blew the place. Great Khans were wiped out too.

The only people I left, were the Boomers, they 'idolize' me and the Vegas Strip clans.

i mean cheaper than £40 or £35, will wait on ebay for the £20 copy or something, as prob will end up with black ops which will be £24

start again lol, I personallly make a save in places that I think I might want to try a different route, such as siding with mr house, against him or with legions/ncr etc... that way you get to play it over if you dont like the result!!

I am a member of the brotherhood of steel. I got the new guy in as elder as well and am doing veronicas mission to get them above ground hopefully.
And today i bought an anti material rifle from the gun runners and went to the deathclaw cave. (dead wind cavern) and killed them all including the legendary deathclaw. Was the most horrendous fight i have ever had lol. About 40 stimpacks and 10 super stimpacks later the were all dead. For the legendary one (as it can take you out in 2 hits) i layed 5 frag, 5 plasma and 5 pulse mines in a pile and lured him into it. ha
