Well it doesnt start as not used in like 2months but been trying to sell it. They must of had a van to put it in.

I know they are heavy....but how many hefty lads can you fit in a transit van?
Wouldn't take many lads to through it in....few mates want a quad to mess about with off road...chuck yours in back of van. free fun
Gutting though mate :n:

Unless it was insured with car insurance then you got no chance, when my motorbikes got stolen a few months ago the house insurance would not pay out, leaving me over £2k down.

If it's road legal its gotta be insured.. Unless its ran out and that's why he hasn't used it in two months?

If it's insured. And you have told them that it is on a road not chained they will pay
:y:
If you have told them that its chained to a wall or garaged etc...then they wont

Got the quad back yesterday from the people who the police use to recover the vehicles they seize, etc. It was gypsy's who taken it and the only damage was ripped off number plate and cut off ignition barrel so could start it just by connecting the 2 wires together. I thought i would have to pay to get it back but the police have to pay the charges as they seize'd it or something along those lines.
The lad whos having it off me has got it now and ive swaped it for a escort rs turbo(will get it in a few weeks) which was a unfinished project but he's just finished rebuilding it and all it needs is a good service, good clean, mot and tax. the shells meant to be really good condition apart from a few paint bubbles on roof. Ive known the guy a while as he's really into his fords and got a mk4 convertible but his mrs has been telling him to get rid of it for months and he's going afgan in army next year so no point in keeping.
