looking to try get new airfilter new exhaust respray the centre console and air vents blue was thinkin of puttin on a vtr bodykit but not sure i wanna have a fake vtr
its only a 1.1i sx

LOOKS MINT! keep it as a flat arch mate they look good when done well and yours looks agressive as foooook i wouldnt paint the airvents and center console blue i would keep it all black or is it blue cant really tell from pics and tint the headlights i think theres a guide on here. other than that just lower it and keep it clean and your onto a winner.

id probs go about 30 - 40 mine is done 50 and going to move it back to 40 just looks less chavvy but its personal like everything else its your choice if u like it u do it dont listen to what others think the best mods come from people who dnt give a shit about what people think.

hey guys just looking for some advice my saxo has got freeplay on the gear lever anyone know howto stop this??? is the quickshift thing much help??? also it really chuggs along with low revs im no much a boyracer so i like to save petrol lol anyhelp??? cheers lads

YEah I have a 1.1 and find that its proper chugs and kangeroos when in low revs! So annoying, any ideas why?

how do u guys clean up the engine bay what should i use to make it look more presentable than now it looks kinda tatty and old i wanna just make it appear to look good (even tho its quite shit) 1.1s aint the best but for a first car i want it to look its best :)

iv got a dream lol, lower tint windows change the grill but not liking everyone elses idea emm plans on tidying up my engine bay as it looks like dog shit which isnt good lol em also thinkin of white alloys but everyones got em so i might put black alloys and go for the stealth look (vroooommmm wtf was that oooo a black saxo) mee :D

thanks for the replys guys gotta get rid of this snow first :(, matey if u think wat i say is gay dont comment lol + im not fussed if u think im a chav coz u aint met me same to anyone else who thinks that, and thank you for the help i was thinkin all black also but i had 16 inch alloys on my last saxo and they rubbed and low profiles cost me 50 quid per tyre so i spent 200 quid after 80 for the tyres :( any ideas on sizes or just black my vtrs?

if done right black vtr's would be nice and btw im not saying you are a chav at all im saying thats the tag thats been slapped on saxo's especially with big back box which sucks really cuz i love the noise of my car and of a nice exhaust but some people are still stuck in the middle ages and think that a big exhaust = chav lol

got the badges tcut took ages lol planning on spraying the alloys gloss black once this weather fooks off, lowering the car about 40 or 60 mm just not sure yet maybe just spraying the grill chevs black and leaving it at that, need to find out how to make my dials brighter. thanks for the ideas lads :y:

yer that sounds like a nice plan and the little knob on your dials (the one on the right) makes them brighter or dimer just keep pushing it and you should see them change

just resprayed my front grill gloss black to give it a nice shiny look on the front of the car, not sure if it was the right choice in paint but oh well :D

haha yer fair play mate yer go black mesh should look sweet in your grill but dunno about on the mouth as would be very hard to see cuz cars black so maybe not its hard to tell

it would either look real smart or like there is nothing there at all which might look abit odd and if you do it theres no going back as you have to cut all the slats out fiberglass filler and paint so there aint no putting the slates back lol

you could always go contrasting with a bright colour or even just a nice darkish red depend what ya like

i seen a red saxo with colour coded grill with black mesh and chevrons look so smart

new update after a long time lol got the grill meshed some parts metallic green so they shine :D and just debadgd it thinking about painting my boot lid roof and bonnet matt black just to mix it up a bit. got some rush on the bonnet and the boot had just been debadged so iv to fill in the holes and getting bored of plain black so smooth black sounds good :D thinking of getting myself some vts alloys and painting in the middle of the spokes green just so it looks different
