Hi there

I've had this problem for the past few days, starting to get dangerous

I'll be driving along holding 35mph. The revs suddenly drop, then about 2 seconds later they shoot back up again. Its almost as if someones cut off the fuel supply.

This has been happening inrequently for the past few days, about 2-3 times for every hour of driving.

Today I had my foot depressing the gas slightly, pulling out of a roundabout, when I lost all power and a car almost ploughed into me. This power loss lasted only seconds after which the car shot up to 3krpm~ (had my foot on the gas during this) and carried on like normal.

anyone know what could be the problem?

Spoke to my dad and he reckons it could be dirt in the fuel lines.
Cheers

Yup, even if i've been driving for over an hour. It takes about 5-10 turn overs to start up aswell if It hasnt been running in the past few hours. not sure if this is to do with my other problem.

cheers guys
