I personally prefer the GTi. I hate the bumpers on the GT, stick out to far imo. and they arent that quick either.
Its just an ugly looking 206 thats got nothing special about it

At first yes you gave your opinion, but it was wrong, you then made it really pointless.
What happened to the old sax-p where you posted a thread without getting a keyboard warriors reply

The 206 GT and the GTi have the same BHP.
The only difference is the 206 GT has massive fooking ugly bumpers
Read this as proof of the SAME lump used in both cars;
These dramatic looking metallic silver cars will be badged 206 Grand Tourisme and will be powered by Peugeot’s new 137bhp 2.0 litre 16 valve petrol engine soon to be introduced in the 206 GTi.
Same car as I said, and again, MASSIVE ugly bumpers

+ 206's aren't attractive cars, nor are they in my opinion that nice to drive.

19th October 2010, 16:08
The GT was built with those fucking retarded bumpers to make the car long enough to compete in world rallying, the standard 206 is a bit short.
It's a standard 137 GTI in all other respects and thus shit
baker556
19th October 2010, 16:14
The GT we looked at didnt have the fugly jaw line bumpers, but compared to the gti 180 it has the 40bhp difference and is limited edition ;)

Why do you feel you have to run your car choice past a forum to make a decision? I'm planning on buying a 206 gti (137) soon as I like em and I feel it's a big step up from my '98 1.4 sax, not because a bunch of guys online told me to lol

Wern't definatly planning on buying it depending on what people on this forum thought, just was curious to see what difference there is from people who have maybe owned both.... i.e. if the insurance group represents the overall powwwwaaa!
