This was spaced over a couple of days due to work.

Last Friday I took the wheels off, did the inside and also the arches with a mixture of APC, Chemical Guys Orange Degreaser and Bilberry. Sadly no pics.

And today saw the start of the paintwork.

It wasn't really that dirty just alot of surface dirt.

The wheels were pretty skanky though.

Rinse
Foam - AB Supa Snow Foam
Rinse
APC Solution sprayed on to get rid of the already applied wax.
Thorough rinse
Foamed again
Washed 2BM - Dodo Juice BTBM - Dodo Juice Short Hair Wookies Fist
Rinse
Quick De-Tar of lower panels
Car was clayed about a week ago so there wasn't any contaminants.
Wheels - Bilberry 10:1
Tyres - APC 4:1

Prepped - Dodo Juice Lime Prime applied via SIM180 Rotary on 3M Polishing Pad
Trim - Chemical Guys New Look Trim Gel
Tyres - I4D Tyre Gloss
Wheels - Collinite 746s

Car was then waxxed with the winter favorite Collinite 476s.

I'm going to try and get around 3 layers on before the cold weather starts to come in.

Anyway enjoy the pictures.

Mikey

I like your gloves.

Nice thick coat of foam! I really need to look into getting a foam lance to fit my jetwash.

+1, I keep telling myself to buy one but i can't justify £50 on a few more suds when the standard attachment on my jetwash does a half decent job =\

Mikey, car looks bob on mate, good work :y:

Ha they are sexy aren't they ;), thermal aswell so keep my hands warm.

Yeah I've got the dilutions down to a tee now so can get it nice and thick and have a real long dwell time.

The lance really has changed the way I wash the car !

Genuinely only been less than a week since it was cleaned and clayed ! Don't know how it's got so dirty ! Think they were doing some building work in my works car park.

I use AutoSmart Tardis, probably the most effective product I have. Swear by the stuff.

Looks really good :y:

I've recently bought Collinite 476S and I have to say it's fantastic, it seems alot of people go for it over the Winter due to its durability. I may just use it all year round :)

Yeah mate, first time I've used it but have been told with around 2/3 coats it should last 3-6 months. See me nicely over winter when topped up with QD.

Colli 476 is currently on my sisters best mates audi, the one I protected not long ago, but will be correcting next Friday.

Very easy to apply and also buff... winner!

Mikey- G3 is ok, not as good as the G1 clear class kit though. C4 is outstanding

I've heard G3 is the better repellent but not as durable as G1. Does G2 come with the G1/G4 kit ? Also will the small G1 bottle be enough for front, side and rear windows ?

G1 lasts for over a year, where as G3 would typically last around 6-8 months.

G2 does come as part of the G1/G4 kit, it's like GTech's own IPA really for removing G1 once cured.

You'll get 3 coats on the windscreen and also one coat on the rest of the windows. A little goes a bloody long way!
