Right'o,
The bolt at the end of the arb, Not the middle one, the one at the narrow end that screws into the trailing arm.
Recently both of mine have kept coming loose to the point where ive lost both of them! Ive replaced the bolts now and applied some threadlock but they keep coming loose. Every week i half to tighten them about half a turn. May be the shite threadlock ive got.
Anyone know a reason for them to both keep coming loose? Threads are all still there.
And anyone got a link to some hard'as'fuck threadlock?
Thanking you.
Sam

ptfe tape? Are you running seriously hard shocks/uprated torsion bars? As they may cause extra and un-compensated for vibration?

Use a smear of silicone on a very small part of the thred

Use some hardcore threadlock imo and make sure they are tight. Let it set before driving.
The liquid base stuff never used to keep the bolts in on mine, then i got some more expensive stuff which is like a paste.

Drill and tap it out to a bigger size bolt?

Nothing wrong with the thread

Yes but with a bigger bolt theres a larger surface area for the threadlock to work.

mine kept loosening up at one point, not as bad as yours but i followed that guide by williamvts on 'winding the arb closer' or something. basically putting a bolt and socket on the end of the anti roll bar where the rubber torx screw is a wind it out a bit. not sure if this is the right way its just the way i did it which i saw off here

Thats just to tighten the arb up though mate. I do that quite frequently cant see it helping but ill do it again.
Going to order some new bolts and washer from citroen/pug and some good thread lock. Should keep it all happy.
